Matryoshka

Matryoshka is a traditional wooden toy of the Ukrainian and Russian people, in the form of a painted doll. Matryoshka appeared a little over a hundred years ago, only in the 90s of the 19th century, but during this short time it gained popularity all over the world. Nowadays, the themes for painting are varied: they are fairy-tale characters, girls, and also families.
